Tuscany and Umbria from one base

Villa Le Vigne sits right on the border between the provinces of Arezzo and Siena, halfway between Cortona and Montepulciano and 15 minutes from Lake Trasimeno in Umbria. Few places let you explore both regions this easily.

Tuscany

Cortona and Montepulciano are 20 minutes away; Pienza and the Val d'Orcia about 35; Siena 45; Florence about an hour.

Umbria

Lake Trasimeno is 15 minutes away, with lakeside villages, beaches and boat trips. Perugia is about 30 minutes, Assisi about 45 miles (70 km).
